The exhibition is in conjunction with the college's Sesquicentenntial celebrations in 2011.
The first tribal controlled college in the United States, Dine' College (formerly Navajo Community College) has led higher education for Native American students since the early 1960's. Today there are more than 30 tribal colleges across the United States. The artist teaches painting and drawing classes during the summer sessions each year.
